MICHAEL HOGAN, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Michael Hogan received his medical degree from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He then stayed at McMaster University’s medical school to complete a five-year residency in orthopedic surgery.
After his residency, Dr. Hogan served as chairman of a physicians’ group covering emergency room care at West Haldiman General Hospital and then became Chief of Staff at Lakeside Community Hospital in Cumming, Georgia, where he also served on the Board of Directors. Michael Hogan then joined Baptist North Hospital, where he has served in a number of leadership roles including Chief of Staff and continues practicing currently. As an expert on surgical techniques, Dr. Michel Hogan is also Medical Director of Forsyth Surgical Center and President of Gwinnett Forsyth Physicians Association in Cumming.
Michael Hogan later narrowed his surgical concentration to liposuction and cosmetic surgery and developed expertise in the latest liposuction techniques. He is board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association, and the Medical Association of Georgia. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Married with four children, Dr. Hogan serves as team doctor for several North Forsyth High School teams and was a team doctor at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Mark Hogan, MD, FRCSC
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Mark Hogan completed an internship in OB/GYN and did his residency training in emergency medicine at SUNY Buffalo. Board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, he practices emergency medicine at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and is an associate clinical professor affiliated with Emory University in Atlanta.
